How do I open an STL file online?
Select your STL file or drag it into this viewer. Once the mesh loads, rotate it and zoom in to inspect its geometry. The file is processed locally in your browser.
Does this viewer support binary STL and ASCII STL?
Yes. Both binary STL and ASCII STL files are supported, subject to the 50 MB file limit and the memory available in your browser.
Why does my STL not show its original colors?
Standard STL stores triangular surface geometry rather than material colors. For a model with supported colors or materials, open a 3MF or GLB file instead.
